Welcome to Mountain View Acupuncture in Tallaght, Dublin, where I specialise in treating pain, anxiety, sports injuries and fertility using acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The clinic is located in Old Court Tallaght, Dublin, with easy access from Rathfarnham, Templeogue, Tallaght, Knocklyon and other Dublin neighbourhoods.

At Mountain View Acupuncture some of the conditions treated are: Sciatica, Arthritis, Anxiety, fertility, Back and Neck pain, Migraines, Digestive disorders and more….

My Acupuncture journey began around 1990 when I had a severe back injury which caused a lot of pain, I could barely walk at times. I was offered the possibility of an operation (and lots of pills) by the medical profession, which they told me may or may not repair the damage, so I opted to try alternative treatments which seemed to give little relief, eventually I tried acupuncture and after about 10 maybe 12 treatments the pain diminished, I was amazed! It was the only treatment that worked and nearly 30 years or so later I am still pain free. In 2009 I undertook, to me, a major task, going back to college at 44 years of age to study, however I did and take great satisfaction now each time I have the opportunity to help someone, be it suffering with pain, insomnia or whatever condition might present itself. Acupuncture is an extremely effective complementary and alternative medicine which has been used in China for the best part of 3000 years (need I say more) and has become  very popular in the western world due to its proven track record of achieving positive results.

As a member of the Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association and the European Traditional Chinese Medicine Association, I adhere to a strict code of ethics and guidelines enforced by the A.F.P.A. All consultations and treatments are strictly confidential.

The lung season is autumn. This is a good time to protect the lungs from changes in weather by wearing a

Healthy Eating for Autumn

The Autumn season brings cooler weather and shorter days. As with any season, the world adjusts accordingly. Plants begin to go dormant, animals start scrounging for food to help get them through the upcoming winter months and humans start winterizing everything. Heavier clothing becomes more commonplace.

As Autumn descends on the land, it reminds us we need

Acupuncture and Staying Focused

A recent study published by the Journal of Neural Regeneration Research found acupuncture treatments can lead to improved cognitive function. Functional brain MRIs showed an increase in the communication areas of the brain associated with higher level cognitive function and memory. When cognitive function is improved, so too is one’s ability to stay focused
